Burgas Municipality and Eldrive collect electric cars from all over the country on September 20 at the Sea Station

Burgas Municipality and charging infrastructure operator Eldrive are organizing a festival dedicated to electromobility and electric cars, which will take place on September 20 at the Sea Station. “Eldrive Festival of Electromobility Burgas 2025” will bring together electric car owners from all over the country, as well as the hottest new electric car models from the brands Mercedes, Renault, Volvo, Lynk & Co and Geely, KIA and Hyundai, which visitors will be able to view and even drive.

The Electromobility Festival is part of the program of the "European Mobility Week", which is organized for the 12th consecutive year in Burgas.

The event will continue throughout the day with lots of entertainment, and in the evening a light show with cars is planned, which will be held for the first time in Burgas. The festival has the potential to become the largest event dedicated to electric mobility and cars of the year. At it, everyone will be able to touch an electric car and discuss its advantages with owners, experts and electric vehicle enthusiasts from all over the country.

Burgas is one of the best-equipped cities in Bulgaria with charging infrastructure. According to the latest data, the city is in third place in terms of the number of available public charging points after Sofia and Plovdiv. The huge advantage of Burgas is the presence of public charging infrastructure, which is built on municipal land in residential neighborhoods, where the need for it is greatest. This type of public-private partnership is still rare in the country and shows the consistency and commitment of the municipal administration to electric mobility and green policies.

In the official importers' area, festival visitors will be able to view and get acquainted with the latest models of electric cars from the brands Mercedes, Renault, Volvo, Lynk & Co, Geely, KIA and Hyundai. Also, financing options for purchasing an electric car from Pro Credit Bank, which has developed a product specifically for electric mobility, will be presented. There will be a separate area for test driving the exhibited cars, as well as areas for relaxation, food and drinks, entertainment and a special children's corner with animators for the little ones.

Eldrive is the largest operator of public charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Bulgaria and one of the leaders in the region. The company manages more than 2,200 public charging points, with over 1,100 of them in Bulgaria and the rest in Romania and Lithuania. Eldrive's focus is on fast and super-fast charging. The company is building hubs and infrastructure for charging electric vehicles in key urban and intercity locations and has ambitious plans for further regional development and expansion. From the end of 2024, Eldrive will also start building its own large charging parks on major highways, with the first four in Lithuania already operational. By the end of the year, similar locations are to be launched in our country.
